The 21st edition of the Telethon 24*1 hour relay is just a few days away, which will make all Udine run in the name of solidarity on Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December. A record-breaking edition, with 660 registered teams and many volunteers ready to support the Telethon Foundation.
The aim of the event is to raise funds to support scientific research to treat rare genetic diseases in order to give concrete help to people who are struggling with these diseases.
Alfa Sistemi’s “athletes” are ready to tackle the path that undoes along the city streets of the old town of Udine reaching a distance of 1.850 meters. We will start from Piazza I Maggio and then continue along Via Manin, Piazza Libertà, via Cavour, via Canciani, Piazza San Giacomo, via Sarpi, Piazzetta Marconi, Riva Bartolini, vicolo Portanuova and then walk externally through the entire ellipse of Giardin Grande, with a small “circumnavigation” of the hill in front of the Tomadini Conservatory.
The beating heart of the event will remain in Piazza I Maggio, where the Telethon Village will be located and where a Tensostructure with numerous tables will be made available to the registered teams to accommodate all participants.
