Industry: Consumer Goods (Toys)
The company was set up in Tarcento in 1954, following the business idea of Gertrude (Trudi) Müller Patriarca, who transformed her passion for cute soft teddy bears, which she sewed herself by hand, into a real business.
The continuous creative development, united with the most careful research of quality, make Trudi brand well - known all around the world; Trudi's products are distinguished from the others by their quality, their design and their ability to arouse emotions.
From the beginning of the Nineties the company has been growing and developing its market share: in 1999 Trudi acquired Sevi, a company specialized in the production of toys made of wood, and, in 2005, Trudi acquired Olli Olbot, an other world - famous German brand of products for babies. During the last decade, Trudi's history has been characterized by the opening of four international subsidiaries, three localized in Europe and one in Far East (Hong Kong).
Through its international branches and its strenghtened network of contacts and partnerships, today Trudi is present in more than 30 countries, like e.g. Eastern and Western Europe, Russia and Far East.
In order to manage this process of both growth and internationalization, it was necessary to equip the company with an ERP system able to maximize the management of all the company's business process, from the procurement to the manufacturing and distribution areas.
